what's a match-writing fed and how does it work? I'm all for doing one, just never done a mw fed before though.

usually a match writing fed means that each person in the match will write his or her version of the match and either the staff or the handlers vote on which is the better and that match is the one that is in the results. Now each fed does it differently so i may be wrong.

^You're right, but that's not how PWE will do it. Both wrestlers write the match together. Example:
Wrestler A posts their entrance, leaving it to be continued by Wrestler B
Wrestler B posts after Wrestler A, making their entrance and starting the match if they'd like.
Basically, the two of you post after the other, continuing the match until the finish. The participants decide who wins, unless it's a title match situation. You also decide on a finish.

And, if I may answer as well, its not really going to be competitive writing as it is in other feds. The goal isn't really to defeat the opponent you have (although winning titles and stuff is still awesome to do), but to have the best possible match you can have with him. That's why communication with your opponent is so important, so you can both be on the same page.
