Here we go...
Management : The guys in charge will be the Championship Committee, or CC for short. There will be a head of the Championship Committee, and two other members of the CC to work with the head. ***NO member of the CC may be world champion. Members of the CC can compete for other titles, and compete for the PWE World Heavyweight Championship, but they may NOT win the world championship. If a person is on the CC and wants to be the champ, they will step down immediately after the match they win the title in, so as not to give it away beforehand. Right now there won't be a CC, as I will be working with all of you guys to kick things off. However, after our first pay-per-view, No Rest For The Wicked, I will establish a CC. I don't really plan on going for the world title, so I'll be head for a while. However, I will be working with all of you guys to get this stuff going and make sure you enjoy it.
Championships: There will be three championships in PWE: The PWE World Heavyweight Championship, the PWE World Television Championship, and the PWE World Tag Team Championships. The tag titles will not be introduced right away, once everything is firmly established and stable, they'll be introduced. Champions are expected to be in a match on every PPV. If you are not participating in a match, then you might not be a good choice for champion. Try to be active as a champion, because you are being placed above others as someone to set an example. Also, if you plan on challenging for a title, you and the champ need to speak with the CC, just to run it by them.
Weekly Shows: We have one weekly show, TV Crimes, that airs on Tuesday, both in storyline and real life. I will put up match cards every Tuesday night. The opening theme will be TV Crimes by Black Sabbath, Youtube it, it's an awesome song That info's probably helpful to the guys with the first match on the card, as the opening match is always the first segment. You have seven days to complete your match, should be up before I post the next card. Which kind of leads me to my next topic...
Matches: As you probably know, PWE is a writing style E-fed, meaning that you move up in the ranks based on the quality of your match writing skills. Also, quality over quantity! In my previous fed, several people tried desperately to write long posts for the sake of writing long posts. Don't do that! Just write what comes to you, and stop when you feel like it. I don't mind shorter matches, or shorter posts, I just don't want them to be terrible. Don't burn yourself out fellas, but don't slack off either. Try and post as often as you can! If during ANY match, PPV or TV, you don't post for three whole days, then your opponent is allowed to end the match how they see fit. I hope that's not a problem though. In a match, you and your opponent(s) decide who the winner will be. In championship matches, the head of the CC sits in on the meeting, and they have a bit of input. Don't worry though, I won't really fight anyone's plans, except if there's a dispute.
Pay-Per-Views: Pay-Per-Views are where big storylines culminate or continue, and you must be involved in SOME kind of storyline to be on the pay-per-view. You have to announce your matches as well; I don't mind when it is, as long as it's not before the pay-per-view starts. Our first pay-per-view will be No Rest for the Wicked, and we'll have about six to eight pay-per-views a year. If you haven't worked for a match on the show, I won't put you on there, but I can throw you in a dark match, or a squash.
Squashes: NO squashing at all! You will not squash your opponent in any circumstance, unless it is one of the PWE Jobbers that I will create in a short while. The jobbers are a work in progress at the moment.
Your wrestlers/characters: Just a few rules regarding them.
1) Make them believable. No extra body parts, wings, scales, feathers, none of that shit. We try to come off as realistic as possible, and the fed is presented as reality.
2) Stick to your alignment! If you're heel, don't debut then turn face one week later. Just doesn't do much for you. You don't have to be heel/face forever, but don't flip flop every month either.
3) Finishers. They shouldn't be kicked out of, and if they are, it should only happen rarely. If people kick out of your finishers cleanly on a regular basis, your credibility falls rapidly. If someone else has the same finisher as you, whoever had it first can keep it. The other(s), have to change. If you can't think of one, IM, PM, or email me, and I can easily hook you up with something good.
Writing: Only really two rules that pertain to writing here. 1) Don't break kayfabe - writing something with references to someone being a heel or face, whether they're a good worker or not, etc., does nothing for you. If someone did it on TV, half of the casual fans wouldn't have a clue what they're talking about. 2) No profanity - Yeah, this might me a big one for some, but let me clarify. No uses of the words fuck, shit, ass, cunt, goddamn, or bitch. Why? It's simple, they're used wayy too often now for simple shock value. With this rule, I hope to challenge people to write more creatively to express their character. With allowed words, please use them sparingly.
Promos - They're not required, but strongly encouraged.
Cast of Characters - These are the non-wrestling characters that make up PWE. Some of these are works in progress, not that I'm having difficulty, just that I haven't gotten around to it. For now I'll just name some names, but later I'll update and elaborate on their characters.
Special Enforcer - Muscular (Heel, often comes out to break up brawls, either saving the heel from getting his comeuppance or preventing the babyface from delivering said comeuppance)
Backstage Interviewer - Crystal Everette
Heel Commentator - Robert Smith
Face Commentator - Jacob Green
Commissioner - Mark Robinson
Ring Announcer - Samuel Rodriguez
These characters may NOT be harmed by anyone.
Permission - You need permission from someone to beat them down, or use them in a promo.
Working together - This is a very important part of PWE! I am going to do my best to promote and encourage working together, because that, my friends, is what makes an E-fed enjoyable. As is such, every Wednesday night there'll be an open chat on AIM, nothing formal or important, just come in if you want, shoot the breeze, bullshit a little, etc. Should be fun. Every month there will be a meeting to discuss what's happening in PWE, and they're required for members, if you can make it. These won't really pop up until we settle in and hit a groove, but they will happen in later months. I strongly encourage you guys to work with each other in the beginning stages of PWE, that way we have feuds going that will keep the fed going.
Sincerely,
Chris
